Topic and Foci

Topic: Several looks at other societies via travelling to another place. Apocalypse Now and A Small Place

Foci: 1. A person has certain assumptions about another person when travelling to a different region of the
world, no matter for what reason. This same person is being looked at, as well.
2. No person wants to be judged from an outside source, but yet that same person will judge other people instantly, a sort of paradox that everyone possesses.

  1. Hey Mr. Pav,
after reading your blog post I was extremely intrigued by what you want to explore but I was also a little bit confused. I like the part where you talk about how everyone is immediately judged by other people the moment they are seen. I think you should explore why people have this tendency to judge people in the blink of an eye. Perhaps it is simply because they are different than what that person is used to. I think you should also examine what exactly is being looked at during that split second judgment. Is it the clothes a person wears, their physical appearance, or maybe just things they've heard before. I'm also interested in what specific ways your going to examine this topic. Are you going to focus on certain characters or people? Hope this helps you explore your assertions. :D
