Last semester, we read a book about Antigua which shows how tourism and colonialism can affect a country. It was called A Small Place, and was very interesting because it portrayed tourism through the eyes of the colonized, not the colonizer. This was extremely intriguing, seeing as though we read Heart of Darkness not too long ago, which showed colonization through the colonizer's eyes. As far as classes go, I thoroughly enjoyed photography last year with Saphire. Mainly because I could go around taking random pictures and justifying them as "art".
