It is very hard for me to choose a favorite book and class; however, I do have some in both categories that I have gravitated towards.
I absolutely loved all of Jonathan Safran Foer's books (shocker!) in particular Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close. I came to love Oskar and found the use of images and color fascinating. Another book I love is Sarah's Key by Tatiana De Rosnay. This book is about the holocaust through the eyes of a 10-year-old French girl, Sarah. It is shocking, engaging, and at the end made me want to cry!
I have absolutely loved taking Symposium this year! I enjoyed being immersed in Foer's writings and unique style—meeting him was the icing on the cake! I also love BC Calculus! I have always had an affinity for math. This class is very challenging and self-fulfilling.
It is amazing that we are halfway through senior year! Can't believe the end is near :(
